We are the Dave England Trio - a fun loving cabaret band, who play a mixed bag to suit almost every taste. We stomp our way through the rock 'n' roll greats, trample over Van Morrison, clamber recklessly over the Eurythmics, scale the heights of Queen to fall exhausted after a quick march with Status Quo. One way or another, we always get people dancing (sometimes we bribe, sometimes we bully!), and everyone has a night to remember (again, one way or another...).

Dave England, the bands founder and only original member, has been creating the party atmosphere for weddings, birthday parties, charity events, and general "we don't need an excuse for a knees up" parties for a staggering 22 years. Now, that doesn't mean he's old - not at all - every year seems a lifetime in anticipation of that golden OAP bus pass to our Dave. He maintains "you are only as old as you feel", so he must have been a bit off colour for a while now.

The line up has changed over the years, and now consists of:

	Dave Compare, Master of Ceremonies, Star of the show, rhythm guitar, drum box and tambourine (oh, and he sings, too - we are trying to put a stop to that, but he does insist)
	Heath The 'youth of the band' - Official Taker of the Piss, general laugh-a-minute, all round nice guy and plays a bit of bass when he feels like it
	Phil The newest member of the band weighing in at a little under 14 stone - "The widdler" - and only recently allowed to plug in his microphone, tries to keep up with the fast-paced banter (good job he can play the guitar)

All in all, we have a lot of fun, a little audience participation (nothing too humiliating, we promise!) and we play a raft of tunes you'll love to dance to. We guarantee you won't be disappointed. Unless you like rave music, classical, death metal or medieval drones. Or you're a hamster. There may be one or two other caveats, but mostly people like us, so there's no good reason why you shouldn't.
